About
Brian McAllister often can be found investigating the natural world of the Adirondacks with a hand lens or binoculars. He has worked throughout the Adirondack Park for organizations such as the Adirondack Nature Conservancy, Wildlife Conservation Society, Adirondack Mountain Club, Ecology and Environment Inc., and the Adirondack Park Agency’s Visitor Interpretive Center at Paul Smiths. A strong passion for teaching has led Brian to several teaching positions in environmental education, but his most prized position so far has been at Paul Smith’s College, where he teaches ornithology laboratories and leads field trips in the spring. He also blogs about birding for Adirondack Almanack (www.adirondackalmanack.com).
