To anyone looking for a nice paddle in the Trilakes area specifically looking for bog/marsh plants, I would suggest paddling Osgood River, or Lake Colby's bog area on the south side of railroad tracks, or Jones Pond West end(closest to Jones Pond Road), or walk the Boreal Life Trail at the Paul Smiths VIC-here you can get down close to the plants and photograph them-just don't step off the board walk!!
